Summer RAYS promotes "Fair Play". By this we support the principles of fairness, integrity and respect.  We enable children to develop physically, mentally and emotionally in a non-threatening, positive, yet challenging atmosphere. As staff, we are committed to developing the whole child and building them up so they are able to experience the positive opportunities offered through sport and games. Within the scope of this mandate, we are obligated to deepen our participant's spiritual development.

It is our goal throughout the week to share with our campers the biblical principles we inherently value. Each day, following lunch we will meet for a 10 minute "chalk talk" where we will focus on one of 10 fundamentals: Perseverance, Excellence, Goals, Team work, Victory/Winning, Courage, Attitude, Confidence, Determination and Success.

Our desire is to positively motivate our participants, inspire and help them understand more about what it means to play, compete and live in a Christ-like manner. Games are an integral part of our programming and encourage team bonding, warm ups, cooperation, healthy competition and fun!

Summer RAYS ensures a 10:1 camper to instructor ratio.  All staff members (senior level physical education students) and RAYS Instructors and Assistants (high school students) are fully certified in First Aid and CPR.  Police checks are also recorded on file.
